As a traditional North Carolina based corporation, Wells Hosiery manufactures 400 needle-knit products for a variety of customers. Constantly purchasing the newest knitting machinery allows us to keep ahead of the changing market and to better service our customers. We house over 140 LONATI™ knitting machines with capabilities to produce a variety of knitted products. Many of our knitting machines have pattern making capabilities as well as flat knit capabilities. In addition, our knitting machines allow us to achieve reciprocation styling. We also have the ability to produce queen-size products up to 8x using our 4.25" sized cylinder equipment. Our LONATI™ 404EJ and 501 knitting machines have the capacity to store up to 25 different styles in memory. This allows for the opportunity to change pattern styling rapidly. The EJ knitting machines have the means for single-needle selection, which creates detailed patterning. The LONATI™ Denema Sizing Machine used at Wells, aids the hosiery technicians in meeting the sizing specifications of each customer by using a machine that is accepted as the industry standard.
